Eric Grzenia's interest in photography originated in
1994 after a newly found desire to capture the scenic
outdoors on film, particularly in the autumn. Driving
along back roads and finding old barns, schoolhouses,
and country churches is still one of his favorite
pastimes. His favorite areas to explore are the New
England countryside and the Michigan shorelines.
During the 1990's, Grzenia attended the LaCrosse
Western Wisconsin Technical College in the field of
photography and later received certifications through
the Creative Photographic Art Center of Maine (Craftsman
of Photography) and the International Freelance
Photographers Organization. (Master Photographer) He
occasionally attends seminars, serves as judge for local
photography/art contests, and teaches as a guest speaker
for the Mauston High School photography class. Grzenia
constantly strives to improve his craft and truly enjoys
the challenges of wedding photography.
He resides in an old brick church, the former St.
Paul's Lutheran Church which has been his home since
2000. Some of his other interests include new age and
classical music, major league baseball, Late Night with
Conan O'Brien, military aviation, and WWII history. He
is also a collector of scenic postcards, Star Wars toys,
and military medals from the world wars. |
